Introducing San Antonio Chiropractor, Dr. Jeanne Sherson

Dr. Jeanne Sherson"Chiropractic has always been a way of life for me, ever since I was a very small child, " remembers Dr. Sherson. "I have to say, most of the credit for that goes to my dear mother, Dorothy. She was always a person who thought "outside the box", and she was responsible for getting our entire family into the chiropractic lifestyle."

"When my sister, Carol, was two years old, she developed spinal meningitis and was hospitalized with ‘no chance of recovery.’ My mother wouldn’t give up, and arranged for her New York chiropractor, Dr. Anton Meister, to come to the hospital to start adjusting Carol. What happened next was a miracle……Carol immediately began to recover. This shook up my dad so much, that he decided to start seeing Dr. Meister himself for his severe migraines. This was a miracle in itself because Dad had always been VERY skeptical of non-traditional medicine."

"Today not only is my sister a chiropractor (Dr. Gloar), but my Dad is as well, and still practicing today in his eighties!"

Dr. Sherson attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she met her husband, Dean, and graduated in 1983. She’s very fortunate indeed to currently practice not only with her husband, Dr. Odmark, but her sister Dr. Gloar as well!

Dr. Sherson has an Emotional Mastery Program at Lifestyle Chiropractic and teaches people how to be happier and more empowered in their lives. She is an avid reader, movie-goer, writer and gourmet cook and is currently working on her first book.

"When you come to visit us in our office, you’ll find we’re very good listeners and we’ll do everything in our power to help you find a solution to your health concerns. I’m always happy to answer any questions you might have, please feel free to e-mail me at any time."

Dr. Dean Asks some important questions of interest to San Antonio residents - Chiropractor San Antonio Dr. Dean Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
